i aboslultley love the resident evil one zombie standee mate!!!!i remember it well from the shop window in dublin the day the game came out in 1996...i wud give anything to own one.!!..ive been looking on ebay the last few years but no luck finding one at all(if ya ever decide to sell let me know!)doubt ya will tho!.....ive even trying to find a poster of the image but couldnt either...can you give me any advice on where i wud find a standee or a poster of it??....wud be very grateful if ya can!!..excellant collection by the way!!

 

Dear God, the RE 3 Promo Shop Standee looks scary. If someone moved that into my bedroom while I slept, I'm fairly sure I'd crap myself :highly_amused:

All my standees came from ebay. I actually need to seriously update this collection, as it's probably doubled in size since the last update!
I even managed to get 2 of the Resident Evil 4 standee - can you believe it, 5 years looking for one at any price, then in the space of 2 months I get 2 for less than £50 together!
Good luck with ebay though, some people are seriously deluded about values on Resident Evil collectables!

 

Indeed. Some copies of the BIOHAZARD games go for insane prices. I bought a few copies of BIOHAZARD Trial Edition for the PS1. My cheapest one was $50 while my most expensive was $150, which was brand new. These weren't on ebay though. I got them on Yahoo Japan and from a member here name Carnivol. I've seen one on ebay go for $400 before which is insane.

I would recommend shopping around the net before going to ebay.

King, I have about 130 variations of the Resident Evil and BIOAHZARD games now. All my JPN PS1 games have doubles. One open and one brand new. My most recent one is three brand new copies of the BIO0 Trial. I got them from Hush games before they went under. They were marked down from $40 to $10 each.

 

Love the collection. Did you get the RE2 debugging disc off of eBay? I remember one last year popped up but it was pulled during the auction.

 

Yes it was an ebay special. Seller also had a debug XBOX360 with a beta RE5 build on the hard drive, but someone got in there early and "made an offer they couldn't refuse". Constantly kicking myself when that happens - need to employ the same tactics in future methinks.....

That's a great collection! Thanks for posting, lots of stuff I hadn't seen. I'm not a collector, but the Resident Evil games are probably tied with Street Fighter for my all time favourite game series. When the first game came out for Saturn/PS1 I can remember thinking it was a milestone in VG history, and those pre-rendered backgrounds seemed incredible at the time. I remember that OPSM Horror game disc too - I probably just threw that away - who knew it would become collectible.

I'm interested to know what your favourite of the series is; I'm torn between 2 and 4. The twin story dynamic of 2 is so cool, but 4 is just so much fun all the way through (except maybe the "dragon's Lair" fight with Hauser).

I still play these games all the time, I'm currently playing Saturn RE1, Dreamcast RE:CV and Directors Cut (uncut mod) and RE2 on my PSP, my wife and I are co-oping through 5.

Looking forward to updates to this thread.

Hello. Great collection and really nice to see. I'm intrigued by the PS2 Pal Code Veronica. I only knew the version with the Devil May Cry demo included. What's the other box? Is it a reprint, or it came before? Do you know anything about it?

I'm assuming it's just a later reprint, as I also owned it back in the day on release and the first ones all came with the DMC demo

I generally only get Biohazard/RE memory cards if they're official Capcom/Hori - there's a couple on my first page
