    Item PSP development tool

Feedback: reactive and fast shipping but the item came in with a broken DVD drive (the tray won't open fullly) even though no such issue was mentioned in the description, I don't know if the issue was due to shipping or already present on the unit, it also came with huge stickers glued on top of the UMD tray which I had to remove and I had to remove the stickers' glue with Acetone as it was strongly attached and remained sticky after removing the stickers, they appeared to have been on for a while and weren't in the description picture either.

The UMD drive is faulty but that was something I did expect as it was part of the item's description.

Asides from this, the unit works, I guess I'll have to open it and try to fix the dvd drive, if not, to swap it.

I ended up purchasing the Ea ps3 tool asked for a refund which is still being processed had damage that wasn't described and he didn't want to be bother before shipping to try to fix it sounds like he didn't describe it with you either and it wasn't due to shipping and her passed it on to you id return it for a refund

heads up for anyone buying from him make sure you get a bunch of pics make sure he shows it working cause he tends to not describe everything

Frankly I'm disappointed that someone who has been a member here for so long has acted in this fashion.

    1) My listing clearly stated the UMD drive was broken (and that's why the item was being sold at a discounted £100 excl postage) so why mention it at all in your feedback??
    2) If there are issues with the DVD drive, why not pm me FIRST to tell me, rather than straight away leaving negative feedback about me and not contacting me at all!?
When you say it doesn't open fully, what are you comparing it to? Different makes and models extend to different levels of "openness" so how much less are we actually talking?
The DVD drive worked 100% perfectly before I shipped it (I've been using psp DVDs in it since the UMD drive didn't work the whole time I've had it!) so IF its damaged, then it happened in transit, although it was very protectively packed.
    3) As for the "large sticker"....If you mean the small piece of tape sealing the broken UMD drive shut, then.....YES I hereby admit I am guilty of not clearly photographing a small piece of tape.
    I am VERY SORRY

Who the f**k do you think you are!?
Telling another user that an item I sold to them was broken before it shipped and I'm trying to scam them - you know nothing about the facts, so mind your own business!

As for YOU and your lies, I've reported you to the Admins.
Firstly I told you up front that your item was damaged and we came to a mutual agreement that I would refund you (which I have evidence I did straight away) BEFORE it shipped out. So why tell lies implying I tried to scam you?

Remember - before you tell lies in future, think about your conversation history, as I will be forwarding ours on to the Admins, who will see exactly what a lying little toad you really are......

I didn't say scam I said most likely wasn't mentioned since you didn't want to be bothered trying to fix my package and I got a refund basically tell him what happens and if came broken return it if your not happy then leaving bad feedback all I did was express what happened to me that you didn't describe any damage with my system

By that I mean it doesn't even open half way, it tries to open, then goes back in the tray, if I use the emergency opening mechanism (with a paperclip) even then something inside the drive will block the tray from opening. I have yet to open the drive to see what's going on, I will do so shortly.

That's why I mentionned I do not know if it was because of shipping (which is likely, bad things can happen during shipment), the dvd tray won't open.
I had to order a SR-8589-C from ebay, open the unit and replace it (which I did today) to get it working again, it's not a huge ordeal but it still adds time and cost (approx €20 including shipping)

The tape wasn't a small piece of tape, it was two large white tape glued one upon the other (with numbers written on it, but I don't really care about that), the tape itself wasn't the issue, the problem was it's been there for a while and after unsticking it it left glue all over the UMD tray, which is a real pain to remove without scratching the original faceplate.

I did mention the original thread mentions the UMD not working so I don't have anyone to blame on that part, I knew what I was buying and expected the UMD drive to be broken.

I am sorry I didn't contact you before posting on the feedback thread, that's a fault on my part.

How did I say scam lol I simply stated I got a refund but you didn't want to be bothered and although you gave me a refund I did ask you to try to fix it on your end after none of the damage was described basically you told me last second and even then somethings I had to ask you other questions on all The pics all I stated was ask for alot of pics cause you tend to leave stuff out of your listing and isn't precise about damage etc

And to clarify things aswell I never said you was a scam or a bad seller I'm just giving people a heads up you tend to leave things out so there is no problem on either side ask for current time in pics with dates in it so you can see any if no damage and make sure it works just from my personal experience anyways good luck with future sales

You know the forum rules - please conduct yourself in a more appropriate manner. I get that you're upset, but your best course of action is to calmly reply to negative feedback with a counteraction and proof if you like. If you say all was well via PM and he's contradicting himself, feel free to post a screenshot. Link to your sales thread and photo if you like where relevant (e.g. the label), too. Name calling is just childish.

Regarding your report, we can't read your conversation... unless you report the relevant post (I can't remember if it then shows us all of it or not). I would have thought it more prudent to post a screenshot in public if you want users to see what was said.

We will not remove negative feedback just because you don't like it. Regardless of who is right or wrong, he wasn't happy with the deal and has every right to explain why rationally... just as you have every right to counteract with evidence. We do not block users from posting on threads, please don't make such ludicrous demands.

I would quit using sarcasm, too. Be sincerely apologetic when someone has an issue with your service. Otherwise, you just make yourself look like a [insert expletive of your choice].

Whilst you could have been more tactful, I do agree that other users should not comment on transactions in which they were not involved. @jetmagnum - please refrain from commenting on other transactions, although a "I received an item poorly packaged, too" or "he was slow shipping to me, as well" or "I didn't feel the item was as photographed, either" is fine. Don't judge where you don't know the full facts. Also, please note that you can multi-quote on this forum - simply hit reply on each post you wish to quote and the quotes will all be added to the quick reply. Please refrain from double posting. Or use the edit button if you have more to say and nobody has replied.

@mathieulh I know you've acknowledged your error, but do please try and resolve issues with people before leaving feedback. Whilst your feedback was balanced, you should allow him the chance to rectify any issues.

I'm somewhat confused about your use of the term "glued". Please note that this expressly means that someone has taken glue (e.g. Super Glue) and applied it to the item. If you're talking about the sticky stuff that is part and parcel of a label, that's not glued... it's just the sticky stuff on the label. You can say it left a residue. Please note that Servisol Label Remover makes light work of both removing stickers and their residue... plus it leaves a pleasant citrus smell ;) lol. Again, should you wish to post a photo of the label, that's fine... but it does sound a bit like you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

    Item: TOOL PS3

Feedback: Everything went smoothly. He offered me a TOOL from EA which he originally wanted to sell for a higher price because the machine he wanted to send me had problems reading discs. So I got the EA tool instead for the price of the one I originally wanted (because it is damaged a little on one corner). Shipping to germany only took a few days, hardware works.

Sorry, by "glued" I meant sticked, not glue like using actual superglue or industrial glue or the such, just plain old tape glue.
I'll follow your advice about getting the Servisol Label Remover.

P.S. On this feedback I was trying to basically put an objective statement of the state of the item as I received it, I did not intent it to be a negative feedback, I don't expect King_of_PS or anyone else to be able to predict that something wrong would happen during shipment, the parcel was well packed/protected so he's not to blame for any mishap that happened (except perhaps the unexpected tape part, but that's not a huge issue), he also was swift in replying to my private messages and has been nothing but professional during the entire trade and I would recommend people to buy from him in the future.

I should say that if you use it, you only need a TINY amount! ;) Use the hose and press the nozzle very gently... so it breathes out a tiny amount. You can even use it to remove labels from boxes if you're careful (no guarantees it won't damage artwork, so be wary)! The best thing is too little, and leave it to soak in for a few minutes. Labels should basically lift off.

Thanks for the clarification on feedback - any feedback is welcomed, and it's nice to see balanced feedback when there are issues!
