I've seen a trailer for this game that was shown e at TGS in 2001, but I've read that a playable demo was also on display. If it's anything like the trailer show at the event I then it's very different than the final game Does anyone know anything about this supposed playable demo? Maybe a prototype of kh is somewhere in the wild...

Yes, I think I mixed up the trailers. AFAIK, the one you linked too has never been seen beyond a trailer. There was no playable demo of this at E3 2001. There was a playable demo at TGS 2001 though, but it wasn't as drastically different than the final release. Wouldn't be surprised if the demo disk has been destroyed by now.
