Does someone knows what happend to Kirby for the Gamecube? Is it still in development or is it moved to the Wii? The first screens are from November 24, 2004 so that means it was passed the beginface. (I think) Movie (4.8mb) from E32005
While I'm afraid I do not have a response for your question, I just wanted to say that that game looks AMAZING! I hope it didn't get canceled... or at least that it DID get moved to the Wii if it isn't coming out on the GC.
Could do with a few more polys and a bit more polish. Given nothing's been heard I'd say it's pretty likely it's been shifted over to Wii.
i remember looking at this the other day, and i must say i was eagerly aticipating it after watching the video. But if its been that long, and the fact a part of hal is working on super smash bros brawl, i say theres a good chance it will get moved to wii, since nintendo hasnt anounced anything on it at e3.
Smash Bros. Brawl is not being made by HAL. HAL's name is being slapped on it, but it's actually being made by original creator Masahiro Sakurai's new studio. So I guess HAL has time to work on it, but I imagine it will be bumped to the Wii much like some N64 games were to the Gamecube.
If this game is really canned, there hasn't been one Kirby game on GameCube that was originally intended for the platform... Kirby's Tilt 'n Tumble was cancelled, Kirby's Air Ride was a N64 game, and Kirby Adventure might well become a Wii game (seems like the Wii controller would really work here).
