Hey everyone, I know people are rather polarized as to which KOF iteration people feel is the best, but does anyone know which one contains the most playable characters? I have a suspicion that it might be 98, but I'm not exactly sure!
Some of the PS2 ports just added in tons and tons of extra characters, like from Neogeo Battle Coliseum. How about which MVS version of the game had the most selectable characters? Was it 98? 2003? I suppose all the strikers in KOF 2000 don't count as separate characters or that would be the most by far.
Ah, yes. If we counted the striker system, 2000 would win for sure. I guess maybe just MVS games? In that case, It might be 2001 I think. Slightly edges out other games in terms of character count, but is also tied with the baggage as being one of the poorer KOF games out there.
