Looks like Konami don't hold the rights for ANY Lethal Enforcers game but the rights for Lethel Enforcers  Plus just look at how they spelt Western for the Japanese copyright.

Text taken from the Mega CD Lethal Enforcers II CD CPY.txt file.

oshit that is hillarious. Imagine if someone discovered this and started selling pirated copies of the game Legally because of a spelling error.

It doesn't really matter what they put on the disc, it's what they file it as that matters.

Couldn't find the Japanese one, but I'm sure it's still out there! There are, of course, more for Lethal Enforcers II.

Interestingly, there's an abandoned US patent from 2005 for a Lethal Enforcers from Konami which operates over a mobile phone network. (EDIT: The second Canadian one seems to be the same and still active.) Oh, and that second UK one is for LCD games? Were there any LCD Lethal Enforcers games?

Vosse: try it. Even if the above weren't filed, you'd still get in trouble. Piracy is piracy, regardless of whether a game's name is trademarked or not. It is still their code, which is COPYRIGHTED. You'd still be infringing copyright
