What is the value on this sort of item? It runs on M2 hardware, correct? Can it be made to run other M2 demos or software? Is the game itself even worth playing? I have a person willing to trade me some hardware for it, and I want to know what sort of value it holds. Is this board even uncommon?
Its a pretty good game,i have some gameplay youtube videos uploaded some years ago if you want to check them out. That mobo is pretty uncommon because it was used only on Japan,so i would say its value is about 200~300 usd. You can only play the other M2 konami games by converting them with the Windowskiller tool.but on this mobo i think you can play only battle tryst and heat of eleven.The others need different hardware.
Polystars is fun and looks pretty for being 3D, but nothing really outstanding as a shooter. The complete set (mobo + cd drive + game) should run you about $250, I saw it sell for 180-200 Euros. Make sure it comes with the frame that holds CD drive + mobo together (some people disassembled it and then it's like loose hardware that you have to connect it and put the components somewhere -- can be a bit risky for the hardware).
