I can't think it mentioned anywhere except in some Japanese Famicom lists with no pictures, but I was looking at a box of stuff in a Junk shop and found a weird Konmai thing, it seemed to be a Cartridge adapter for the Famicom which accepted a cartridge with a much smaller edge connector apart from the Q太 (Japanese word for Thick) there didn't seem to be much else to tell me what it does, I haven't seen it before. It was unboxed and at Y2000 it was expensive for someting I've no idea what it did.... Knowing my luck it's going to be some device that allowed you to play special education cartridges or something but does anyone know?
is a special adaptor for some konami games: KIKENBUTSU NO YASASHII BUTSURI TO KAGAKU SPACE-COLLEGE (number 6 in a top rarities famicom games) NHK GAKUEN 4・ 5・ 6 NENSEI SANSUU UESHITA (6 educational games)
Would be nice to get some pictures of this thing, I'm surprised if it is so rare that no one apart from yourself has mentioned it... I'm pretty sure I've not seen it anywhere.
I think it's safe to say the name is "Kyuu-ta" (with "ta" as in "taro", you know, the boy's first name). Oh, and just found this: http://www.ne.jp/asahi/oroti/famicom/mab17.html Scroll down to the bottom of the page. The image is crap but at least there is one.
is the only image of this game in all web now (I think). I search other images with better quality from 15 days... but nothing
Haven't uploaded these to my site yet, but here you go. Rare, but not hella rare. Can't say much about what it does, other than the obvious:
