Do you know how are these game played?

Did they use their NES shoot'em up engine to teach kids about maths?
Or did they add some educational content to a Metal Gear like gameplay?

That would be awesome to see those games running.

The parents would probably assume that everything was for "the Nintendo". So enjoy your copy of Shinobi! (was Shinobi released for the Famicom? I can't think of any SMS exclusive at the moment)

They totally could have revamped them as like Gradius Math and made millions.
