As with the famiclone thread, most pictures are from various advertisements. All the joysticks here use the standard port for most 8-bit home computers and consoles, I'm gonna udate later with some Apple/PC compatibles. The official Joystick for the first Zemmix console. The only place I've ever seen this is the Zemmix TV commercial, so the image is a bit small. Zemmix V joystick. Pic snatched from somewhere on the web. The Thunderstick by Adonis Computer Clover's Power Stick Joystick by Hi-Com. Snatched from the web. The Underwood Alien Unicorn The Kraft Mazemaster by Yoowon. More sticks from that line follow the next time. The Prostick by Prosoft. Two more sticks by Prosoft, called "Ppyong Ppyong". The ads for those only show drawings of the stick for some reason, so I had to steal those from some Korean blogs as well. The Zemina Pride I just noticed that the board doesn't have a joystick icon for threads...
Ok, so here are the PC/Apple ones: Kraft Premium II, Yoowon Kraft KC3, Yoowon Master Joystick, Underwood Adonis II, Adonis Computer Artman, Adonis Computer
Yeah I had got that off ebay about ten years ago. It's a very thick lexan with silkscreened reverse, in a heavy metal box with leaf switches. Has four suction cups on the bottom. I took it apart to clean it and I could never figure out how to put it back together. I wound up putting it in a shoe box for another day...about 7 years ago.
It looks like it would great to use. I love those old heavy duty joysticks. The Astro Boy graphic really make it stick out Hope you can get it fixed one day. It would be great to see some more pics of it, if you ever stumble upon it in the master vault.
Here are some really old ones (from a 1985 magazine). Only B&W pics, unfortunately. "Joy Stick", Heuimang Jeonja (Hope Electronics) Commando Joystick, Idea Bank "Joystick", Hanil And a bigger, though colorless photo of the Daewoo stick
Oh, I forgot to mention that the Kraft ones were imported to Korea, so it's likely to find the models elsewhere. Maybe the shell is from the same supplier, or one of the sticks is licensed with another name.
Oh found some fun facts about the Kraft. The Tandy copy came bundled but the kewl thing is that the TRS-80 model 2 was actually built in both Korea and the USA. Both being identical. I was reading the wiki about it. Guess that explains why the TRS-80 also had that joystick.
