wow, got this console ive never seen before at a yardsale, the guy said it was the latest thing in china but then again it was only about $35 so who knows

anyways, sleek black console about the size of an N64, two leds on the front one which shows power and the other cd acces, wireless controlers too, nice :)

only got one game with it which is on an unmarked CD-r so i dont know what its called, maybe someone can help me out on thatone, its a decent 16bit-ish shmup, kinda reminds me of axelay?

anyways, never heard of it before, anyone care to shed some light?

Nice find! My first idea on the shooter was Phalanx but it's not. Can you post more pics of the console, boot screen etc.? Any logos or hints on the maker?

Don't know about the game or the hardware inside the system case, but the case is from/copied from either a Krups waffle maker or sandwhich maker. Am rather familiar with them as we sell them at my work. Krups is a German manufacturer of kitchen electrics, btw. They've been around for quite a long time and are particularly known these days for their espresso makers.

Yeah, I can see that now that I had a better look at the pic. Pretty weird to stuff a console inside a case for kitchen appliances. Then again anything that is an expensive prestige product is copied so why not make a crossover of design and function. Now, where is that NES toaster? Oh, wait...

Wow I was going to ask what the huge handle was all about, but I never expected that as an answer.

as usual I get my daily "wtf" from these forums xD

can you pop that cd-r in your pc and see the contents and file directories?
maybe that can help determine what this is

    also, more pics/vids/anything plz! :)

Very interesting  The ship in the shooter looks like a sprite rip from Axelay, while the background in the 1st shot looks like a rip from Phalanx with the second stage being a rip from Super EDF I think. Wouldn't surprise me coming from China. Can you get a cleaner shot of the console? Any box for it? Also how is it's boot screen. I'd love to see a video if you can make one.

Haha, yeah that is a lame rip off of a Krups *waffle maker*. Pretty bad imitation. I should know, we sell it at Bed Bath and Beyond ;)

Now why the heck they would choose that to make a case from, I have no idea.

Good stuff . I was gonna post a picture of a Krups (a familiar brand over here) waffle iron but it wasn't needed.
