Found this game in kickstarter and it looks cool. The game is in it's early development but it looks promising and the development team is really passionate about this project.

I always wanted to learn kung fu or something similar but i always felt kind of embarrassed to go to a kung fu school. With this game i believe it will be possible to learn some basic kung fu.

You can also help their project by liking and sharing it on FB

I practice Tae-Kwon-Do... it's cool and all but I don't think that learning martial arts fit in a videogame, unless you're constantly exercising your body.

Why not fit into a video game?

i mean games should have some educational stuff and be able to also teach the gamer something.

This wouldn't work, there's no physical contact. Sure you can punch, kick and try to throw thin air but doesn't work so well.
Unless you develop some training dummy then maybe.

Surprised it hasn't been done before to be honest... You would've thought Nintendo would have milked the idea for the Wii

Considering how crappy motion controls are, I wouldn't exactly trust them with teaching me the correct moves.

Very interesting, but still not completely sold? Although it seems to be getting more serious backers with people pledging £1k and £2.5k.

It looks okay, but If I was to train I'd go to actual lessons or get DVD lessons (from a reputable source). You just can't replace the teacher touch of the Gracie Academy Jiu Jitsu DVD

I hope you cross train. I Took TKD for a while but it's unfortunately quite a poor defense art.
