KV Programmable 10-in-1 Power Stick Sega Saturn / Playstation arcade stick

I just bought this:

interestingly, the picture at SEGA Retro is the same one used in the auction, so (as that picture was uploaded over a year ago) I assume I'm buying it from the same guy who posted it there.

I'd seen them on eBay before, but they were always unboxed and missing the instructions, and crucially, the 2-in-1 controller cable, which is removable from the stick (leading me to believe (hope) that there may be a SNES/Genesis cord out there somewhere. Something about the stick appealed to me, it's no-brand-you've-ever-heard-of obscurity and crazy array of buttons is fascinating, so when I saw this one, reasonably priced and complete with cord, box and instructions, I couldn't resist.

Can anyone tell me more about the stick, or even the manufacturer? Was this there only product, or are there other bizarre controllers out there (google is coming up with nothing).
