hi i thought everyone here would appreciate this fine piece of Japanese arcade gaming bliss. i brought this cab back in march of this year from a couple of guys of the arcade otaku forum ..its really a cab based on the sega aero witch is a cool looking cab btw but when i saw this cab for the first time on hard-candy (a website dedicated to these amazing machines) i had to have one. i love the colour and the artwork on the panel plus the fact that the whole cab is made out of metal .its also a dream to play and its only 25in wide about 5ft tall a real tiny cab that fits into any place you may have. enjoy when it first arrived x/5/11 i love the way you can pull up the front like a bonnet of a car it makes getting the tv in/out to change tv position easy work. inside of course-it needed a lot of cleaning inside but as its a cab from the late 80s that has probably has not been cleaned in a long time its looking pretty good i think. a bit of desert war a nice shot of the panel here you can really see its beauty
There nice cabs , i had one a bit back, also an Egret 2 and a few Naomis, i am now just down to 3 cabs now 1 DX 50 1 Twin Pod Racer, and a Crisis Zone . Can be an expensive hobby
I also got a 50 and a 100yen you are welcome to if i can find them, provided i am not posting them to mars?
Oh lol i did not know that .i have played the game on pce cool cabs it can be a expensive hobby i like the look of the domy jr but i don't have any room left really.. cheers but i don't mind flicking the credit switch the old way . with my sega astro i modded the coin mech to except 10p's its now full of them over £200 worth i reckon.. thanks for the offer anyway.
purist...well maybe i'm not but i would find someone who truly believes that a bit odd as you have retrieve the coins every time you want to play and thats mental. i have more 10p coins on me than 100yen coins so it makes sense. what if you want 6 credits but you only have 5 coins ...oops now i have to open the door take a coin out and close the door and put it back in again.....haaaaahahahaha thats stupid. each to their own.
It was a joke post, fyi.... Edit: And before I forget, grats on the great restoring work !
Coin mechs are common as hell. And yes, many of us with Japanese machines use Japanese coins. Alternatively, you could reprogram the mech. By the way, you need to choose a more reliable picture host - it says bandwidth exceeded.
I did reprogram it and in my own simple way lol. it makes no sense to me using japanese coins just use the coin switch after all your putting your hand down their anyway. i will try postimage.org
