I have the Mega LD version, what exactly do you want to hear from it, the whole game?

 

I can rip t he Mega CD version (JPN version) but first I'll need to know what format the audio is in.

 

Yes, I just want to hear the musical soundtrack, if you feel like playing it and recording the audio and put it up that would be much appreciated.

Well it's not redbook... what I was going to do is just play the game on Gens, and turn off the offending audio sources (PSG or whatever) and record the resulting wav file. Whenever I get around to doing that, I'll put it up here if anyone's interested.

 

What version of the soundtrack is on the iOS version, the original arcade I assume as it has the opening theme music but NOT the vocal track from the Mega CD version.

Pretty unplayable on iPad tho you really need a pad.

It's very playable on the iPhone. Why is it so bad on the iPad?

As for the soundtrack, it's the arcade track. The Mega Cd had an original opening theme not found on any other version of the game.

I can't handle going left, what control scheme are you using? I have got past the first time i have to move the wheel left once ive felt like breaking the device in half! h34r:

 

I use the wheel settings. Left can be a bit tricky if you hold the wheel too near the end of the screen though.

 

Speaking of the MegaCD intro, anyone know where I can find a good version of this intro song?
The one in the intro is of very low quality due to the video file compression

I have searched everywhere, even for live versions and in J-Walk's(jaywalk?) albums but without any luck

 

Hmm, I remember searching for it also a very long time ago but with no luck. I do know that they did an English version of the song for the Euro release (probably used for the US version too). Maybe you could find the title out of that?

Are you sure there's a JP and english version?

Because the Engrish in this song is so epic(ie bad) you can barely notice it's english unless you have the lyric in front of you.

 

Yep, there's an English version of the song on the Pal UK game at least.

 

I've found a video of the Video Challenger version of this game. I guess the music is the same as for the arcade version. The first music (with the avenger in his garage) is the same used in the Mega-CD version.
Though, the gameplay is not the same.
