Hey Everyone, So I just finished watching a play-through of Legend of Success Joe for the Neo Geo. My god, how much did they charge for this game new? I feel so sorry for any Arcade operator who got suckered into buying that.
The controls SUCK! The Neo Geo has 4 action buttons, yet they only use two with dumb combinations. I have the game for MVS.
What possessed you to get it? Got suckered in too? Ya, the control scheme is lame. You need to push button 1 and 2 at the same time to do strong moves, button 2 alone to dodge, button 1 to do weak moves, etc. Or something like that. Thankfully, I don't own the game so I don't have the pleasure of knowing all the moves. (^_^);
I've played much worse games, there are a few things about it I like, though I can't say it's very good.
This. I too played much worse games, action 52 anyone? But then again, it is one of the worst Neo Geo games out there.
Well considering the expense of Neo cartridges and the fact that the prices are usually higher for game operators who intend to make money on a title, the early adopters would be the one who get burned the most. I would agree with most members here that the only reason to own the cart is if it was sold at next-to-nothing prices. How much did this retail stock anyways at the time?
