    erm i never knew that either.... Mine is a asian model i think (no modem) and that has serial on the bottom.

    I think that guys Dreamcast has a store code on the back and not the Dreamcast's code. I have 5 Japanese Dreamcasts from various release times with none having any stickers on the back of the machine.

    LOL I think the guy who made the 'legoooooo dreamcast' was just looking for an excuse to play with lego ;).. but he did an great job.
