Sometime this year... I hope. Seriously though, I'm looking at: Creating the avatar animations and refining the display. This is the current focus and a real pain since you have to debug them on an Xbox (no PC-side avatar support at all). I still have to do a workaround for the avatar shadows (no access to custom shaders for avatars either). Finishing the UI. Adding sound effects and background music. Testing the networking for 3+ players. I have two tested fine, but I haven't gotten around to testing 3 or more since my second Xbox is in the bedroom. Figuring out the final price. Probably another month or two until I can get this one out.
Now taking suggestions for re-branding: http://pax.gamespot.com/story/6274972/telltale-dealing-poker-night-at-the-inventory/
Last Chip Every Poker Showdown Bluff Star Full Ring Poker (plays on the multi-player aspect) Jackpot Poker Wild Card Or why not just Poker Party?
Cool, looks good! I have to admit I bought Poker Night at the Inventory on Steam and that game is flawed. Example: 6-max table. Blinds 100-200, 1 fold, UTG+1 raises 600 to 800 total, 1 fold, BTN raises 400 to 1200 total... huh? Anyway, I see you've got 8 seats at the table, do you allow 8 player 7 card stud and variants? I've always wondered what happens if more than 7 players are dealt into the hand and all players see 7th street. I heard some rumblings of "if there aren't enough cards in the deck to deal to all players, a community card is dealt" but I never really got a definitive answer.
Only 7 players max. I thought about making the table a septagon, but decided that the octagon looked much better. Not to mention that I just couldn't fit an eighth player in the GUI. Regarding the rules, if there aren't enough cards to deal the full round (which would only happen on the final dealing round anyway), then the round is dealt as a single community card.
