Hi guys, need someone to erase and flash and EEPROM for me. I don't have a programmer otherwise I'd do it myself, and I'd just get one but this is probably the only time I'm going to ever need to flash a chip.

Chip in question is a M27C256B.

    I'm located in US.

    Thanks.

If you don't find someone, ask some resellers whom sell that part and ask them if they'll flash one for you for a bit extra??
like it would mean you'll have to buy a second EEPROM..
i doubt it will come to that..

It's an EPROM not an EEPROM, slight difference when it comes to erasing. ;)
Also the M27C256B is so cheap that I would just save on shipping and buy a new one from the programmer guy.

If time is not an issue then you can buy one from here: http://www.buyicnow.com/it.php?i=234
It's $1.8 for the eprom, $0.50 for the flashing and $6 for the shipping. So a total of $8.3

I believe I have some M27C256 chips, not sure if they have a B extension or not but I can check.

    EDIT: They're 27C256JL

Wow thanks for all the replies everyone. I will most likely just get it from bad_ad84 because I also need a Dreamcast region free bios chip as well.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions/information!
