What's everyone's experience using Li-ion batteries in the AGB-001 Gameboy Advance? How long do they last, can they be recharged inside the compartment with the regular GBA ac adapter?

I had a third-party battery pack that also replaced the battery cover. The charger then plugged directly into the pack, instead of the GBA. Capacity was (or at least felt like) a bit lower than non-rechargeables though, iirc.

But what type of battery was in the pack? It might have been just Ni-Cd like any cheap rechargeable.

No idea tbh, but either way I would not try recharging batteries with a circuit designed for a different type (or none at all, i.e. just hooking the cells to some random power source and walking away...)

Do you still want the AA slots?
Look at the xbone battery pack
