Does anyone know what the exact name of the switch is (the type really) that is used on the GD-ROM controller to detect the state of the lid? Trying to find a drop in replacement but I can't for the life of me figure out exactly what the switch is called.

I've found equivalent parts in plenty of optical drives but their base is almost always too tall and won't clear the portion that swings down.

Any momentary normally open switch will do. Pretty easy to find.

I figured as much but I'm a bit of an anal retentive purist and would love to have something that matches as closely as possible. But honestly anything to allow disc swapping is clearly better than shorting the switch line 24/7.
