Was that at the NHK studios? I'd love to go there, Domo is my favourite tv mascot. Would travel miles just for seeing Domo's simulated living room cave
Was there any merch for sale, too? A small domo on my desk... :)

haha, yeah. That was at NHK in Tokyo. It was a stop on a bus tour my friend (in the pic being eating by Domo) took. At the end of the tour through the place (which shows live filming of news, dramas, etc) there is a store to by lots of NHK merchandise, including Domokun plushes.

And if you don't know Japanese, there are English tour guide pamphlets available. It was pretty neat.

Mh.. gotta remember going to NHK on my next trip to Japan :)
Fortunately there are always Domokun plushes up on yahoo, so I will have one at home soon - will fit great into my large collection of Domo clip files :)

Other than Yoyogi Park, NHK is one of the largest sources of white people in Tokyo. I live a few blocks away.

Indeed, that is Yokohama. I don't remember where exactly that particular picture is at though. A lot of them were from Minato Mirai.

I'm hoping to take some more when I go back in December this year, but I'll be in Tokyo for most of this trip.

My typical piss poor Japanese crap? sorry, but I think that you're wrong if you think this about me. I don't care about "engrish", or as you want to call it, I found funny the concept of "masturbation room of oncoming generation" not the writing.

what? I think you need to read my post again. When we use "your" in English is doesn't always mean "you" . My post was in no way directed to you, Midnight Milkshake.

Took this picture in a local arcade, it was just too hilarious.

He was actually sticking to the left side of the road, doing 70mph and heavily breaking for every corner while playing Initial D 4. Needless to say, he wasn't rewarded for his safe driving.

I love that Tokyo Bus Guide arcade game. They're getting hard to find these days though :crying:

That guy playing Initial D is funny though. I've seen a few older guys playing the Battle Gear 4 by Taito like that.

I recently played Drummania/Guitarfreaks (me on the drums) with a atleast fifty year old man who asked me if I wanted to play together. He was really good though, couldn't keep up at all. :)

I love seeing elderly people in the arcades instead of behind the Pachinko machine.
