And they probably work there to boot!

My favorite Engrish (or is it just weird old Japan?) is the place in Shibuya called "Wine Bar Pee".

They probably just ran the Japanese through some grubby online translator, and then sent it straight to the sign makers

Akihabara before the shops open (taken around 8ish in the morning).

Parts of the old Akihabara thread are still alive if you look hard enough...

Morning sun glinting off the Taito centre.

    Progress of Akihabara... :(

Red triangle marks the er spot...

No normal luggage lockers in Akihabara...

    Too many damn skyscrapers...

Can you say 'Sunburnt boxes'? Come on repeat after me "Sunburnt Boxes..."

The old shell of the old Sofmap 2 building.. you can still see the markings...

Whilst most of Japan has Sakura blossom festivals in April, Koga in Ibaraki is one of the few places that has a Momo (Peach) Festival

Cherry Blossoms at the imperial palace

A more local sakura blossom festival in Saitama. The park is famous as it was in some hit Japanese film whose name escapes me...

Before the flowers sprout, these plants are a delicious vegetable side dish (again I've forgotten the name...)

Some of the Yakuza run stalls.

The view half way up a small mountain in Tochigi just before you get to a temple.

    Part of the temple.

Another part of the temple and some cute woman...

It was childrens day recently so you could see lots of these...

Got up early one morning (6am or so) and saw lots of Baloons about...

Great pictures DCharlie, keep posting more. :D It'll give me a reason to get of my butt and post more myself...

    Sunburnt boxes.

I'd think at least Japan wouldn't commit this crime... Surely there's some window coating or something that would keep this from happening? UV-protectant?
