I had to wait about 3 minutes for that damn Marshmellow Man to get out of the way.

In the Spring, every gaijin residing in Tokyo goes to Yoyogi on Sunday. I live about 500 meters away, so I'm there a lot.

They're very common in Japan just like any Japanese sports car. If you have a decent job you can buy a GTR, STi WRX or Evo quite easily. Well, having a nagging wife may stop you but not the cash .

Along with the Hona NSX, the Nissan Skyline R32 GTR was up there as my ultimate japanese car as a young boy in the early 90's ... I remember spending hours pawing over models of them both in my Tamiya catalogues!

Very tempting to buy an R32 even today! :love2: ... the NSX is sadly still a pipe dream though!

You drive an Impreza don't you Yakumo?

Yeah, i have a STi tuned Impreza wagon. Great car but not so special in Japan. There are loads of them. I see many every day. In fact in this area where I live there are 6 STi Imprezas. The avarage age of the drivers seem to be in there mid 30s too. There is a plus point about them being common though, at least parts and dealers are easy to find and not too expensive.

The R32 is still a great car but not really my style. Check out Yahoo Auctions to get an idea of how much they sell for. You'll be surprised at how little you can get a very nice one for. Also remember that the Japanese do seem to take good care of their items, especially electronics and cars.
