Light gunsL: Starfire? MadCatz? Other?

Recently found House of the Dead at swap meet and need the light gun. Just wondering what the concensus is on the best light gun to get. I've seen the starfire lightblaster and the madcatz Dream Blaster guns at flea market..just wondering which is best..or if there's something else better than both.

 

Official lightgun for the Dreamcast is the best. Just for that warning label alone.

 

there was even House of Dead Light Gun box set released for Dreamcast in Japan as well.

 

Personally I prefer the official SEGA light-gun, but the Madcatz one isn't bad either. However important to note, if you want to play the NTSC-U version of House of the Dead 2 you can't use the official peripheral because of a software lock-out. The Japanse and European copy are compatible with all Dreamcast light-gun's though.

 

Thanks for the heads up, I guess that's why I haven't seen the official one irl.
