I've been doing research most of the day on lightguns. Apparently, all the ones ever made for the PC have been discontinued or just suck. There has to be something i'm missing here. Are there any PC based light guns that work and are still available? I have my NES one and my dreamcast one, so I can at least play duck hunt and House of the Dead --wendy
Actlabs made two lightguns for the pc, with the last one they included an die hard game ( I believe Die Hard Triology 2). Mainly the guns are used for emulators like MAME. There is also an railshooter mod for quake2 so you can also use the gun with that . There are also some 'dos' lightguns those have to be connected to the mouseinput and arent that acurate.. but they appear to handle pretty well when playing in an MAME OS enviorment.
There are loads of them in the 2nd hand shop near my old house. Doubt they would cost much, but it's a bit out of my way to go check.
