That's my mom in her pink bathrobe playing my World Heroes Neo Geo in my Hello Kitty bedroom. xD Like mother like son?
Ha, thats awesome. My Mom loves Bomberman, and... I think thats all she ever really got into aside from your random flash games. Sadly, I've never gotten her to play Saturn Bomberman co-op mode with me. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me.
My mom was really into Pacman, back in the day. We used to play Mario Kart together, then we found out she has MS / Lymes disease and so had some trouble with muscle control. My sister was more interested in the logical games (crossword, minesweeper) more than the button-twitching types. There are some interesting sociological explanations for that - in primitive societies, men were the "hunters"; they required acute senses, strong bodies, and goal orientation. As compared to the women, the "gatherers" - who stayed around camp to take care of kids, and find food locally (plant life). There the focus was more on information dissemination, teamwork, and group consensus. The same still holds true today.
my mom often comes in my room and admires it. She collects designer purses, my dad collects car models,cd's and vintage beer cans. I'm from a family of collectors so it's not seen so negativly
My mom calls me a nerd, but it was her that bought the NES when I was a kid. She finds the old games funny. I played Altered Beast the other day and she found it hilarious.
Back in the day my Mum used to play Tetris every night on her gameboy, these days it`s brain training and Sudoku on her DS.
My Mum bought a wii on friday, simply because they had them in stock in argos, now sher and my dad are addicted to Bowling on Wii sports! (bear in mind her last experience of playing video games was crazy painter on the dragon32!)
The only game my mother has ever played was Safari Hunt on the Master System besides that she dabbled in a little brain age. I've been thinking of picking up Singstar on PS2 since my mom's karaoke mic broke. My mom isn't into Anime or Martial arts films either but she does LOVE Kurosawa's Ran which I bought for us.
None of my parents plays games, nor my brothers, just a 12 yr old cousin whos a CS 1.6 freak. And henners, a hello kitty room? please tell me you're a girl...
The only video game my mom ever liked was Smurf Rescue on ColecoVision and my step-mom liked to play Pac-Man and Popeye on my 5200. The only game mom plays nowadays is handheld solitaire.
 He's not. The title of the thread is "Like mother like son." My mom doesn't play any games... but my dad plays Halo with me and my bro.
Hello Kitty has a guy's line out. As for the actual reason for hello kitty, it was my sisters room and i took over when she moved out. I'm REALLY lazy to get the light switch changed. The rest of hello kitty stuff is sparatic.
I only see the Hello Kitty thing if I look really, really hard. Why is everyone scanning every pixel of that picture of his mom??? The Neo Geo cab gets my attention.
No prob dude, having to redecorate a room can be a pain in the ass most of the time. Post 3000! w00t!
