Alright, turned out I forgot to put any header in the ROM, which doesnt matter for VBA but the real hardware does care... so I attached a new version. It also features support for wicked bullet patterns but it´s not visible yet.
Wow! Thanks so much! Do the A and B buttons do anything? I just got report from Drazic that the B button does nothing whereas it's supposed to spawn enemies. And if anyone's wondering, AOYUS stands for "As Of Yet Unnamed Shmup"
Yeah sort of, one button fires bullets and the other button spawns sort of distorted 'blobs' out of the back of aircraft that you can control. (Hope that makes sense)
Well, I never claimed to be GOOD at what I did. :smt043 Those 'blobs' ARE supposed to be an enemy design, but as copious amounts of the sprite are sent to the screen when the B button is pressed, it's easy to see how they could turn out to be a misshapen pixelated smear. Bear with us, oldengineer. Once the engine gets more refined and I get some more art whipped up, hopefully things will look more like ships and such. :-D

can i recommend you using chiptunes to the little game ? but remember credit the authors of the chiptunes if there are more than one chip author to the chiptunes .
