I'm wondering, is it possible to play Linda^3 or Dead of the Brain with the help of a walkthrough and some basic knowledge in Japanese? And in Japan, are those games enjoying a good reputation or are they just curiosities because of their rarity? I would like to attempt playing an adventure style game, but I am sick and tired of all those dating games. I tried many of them during the summer holidays and although I sort of know how to play them and understand maybe 40% of what is going on (i.e. Tokimeki Memorial, 3X3 Eyes, Desire), I somehow can't stand this basic concept of hunting girls anymore. Thus, I wondered if maybe Linda^3 or Dead of the Brain could offer a more sinister story that does not focus on dating and giggling girls like Tokimeki Memorial. A friend of mine told me that Dead of the Brain is freaking hard to understand because of much terminology and he is usually very good at Japanese. Also, what is the difference between the PC-Engine and the Saturn/PS1 version of Linda^3?
I don't know the differences between the versions of Linda cube, but you may try marica for Saturn (not maria!), if you want to check a new and dark scenario. Or maybe cyber doll. Something different than usal girl hunting games
