Good day , Is there a way to backup my Lindbergh Rambo arcade game (IDE drive) and/or clone it to a much newer hard drive. (the old harddrive has started to have "clicking" sounds). I only have the Lindbergh Red EX, and Rambo game installed (guns wiring , io board and other stuff), NO DVD drive, or DVD installer was included when i bought it second hand. i had downloaded a file DVP-0069.CHD off the internet (presumably an image of the DVD or the hard drive) i dunno if this is of any use. -thank you for any advice
The hard drives are locked to the key chip, so you won't be able to use a downloaded MAME CHD. IIRC, you have to install the game from a DVD to a new hard drive, or get a replacement drive that's set up already. You could perhaps try cloning with regular PC hard drive cloning software, but you might get an error code.
