Anyone know if such a thing exists, or if the source code to the windows version is around? It works under linux + wine but the speed... URGH, takes a whole 10 minutes to eventually get to the menu of a game, completely unusable.
Not sure about the nature of the software, but can't you run it under some kind of visualization layer? Or would that be even slower than Wine?
From memory there were linux "versions" floating around at the time, not necessarily of starcube's GCSim but of derivatives. Perhaps worth looking into if you're not using a GCSim specific function.
I know the exact cause of the problem, because you can get it in windows too. Send and Recieve Window Size, if you change the default in windows it messes it up completely, I've never found the option for it in linux but wouldn't like to change it even if I did find the option. I looked all around and could only find eurasia's links which only had windows things on them. Got idea of the names for the linux software?
