There is this website where it has pictures of cars from all video games. I cant find it though I wonder if you know of this website. It has old games like the cars of GT2 as well as modern games such as forza 3
Bit pointless since most worth while cars from Land Rover 4x4 to Japanese sports cars to Americqn muscle cars have been in games.
Hahaha, that would be fantastic if the cars broke down while racing them then you had to get out and give it a swift kick to get it going again
It's not a game, but Top Gear had a British Leyland challenge that was hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTzrkdQPGj0 I just LOL everytime at 1:04 on that video

I have a thing for unnecessarily bland but true-to-life simulators. Reminds me of how much I want a truely realistic FPS one of these days. By that I mean, you would be affected physically from getting shot, wouldn't reload as well when moving vs. sittin in a corner, maybe you could drop your clip sometimes, stuff like that. When I was little and dreamed of owning my own car, I'd play Midtown Madness like a normal driver, abiding by all the road laws. We'll just have to be extra-careful when racing Marinas.
Does that mean you're one of the few people on earth that could possibly stand the boredom of playing the entire length of the Desert Bus driving mini game in Penn & Tellers Smoke an Mirrors? And in case you don't know what I mean by this "The objective of the game is to drive a bus from Tucson, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada in real time at a maximum speed of 45mph. The feat requires 8 hours of continuous play to complete, since the game cannot be paused."
Yeah, me too. They used to have a game called Landing High Japan (a game on the Taito Type-Zero system) in my local arcade, and I loved it. It was pretty bland and uneventful - you just take off and land in large airliners. I liked it because it seemed like you were actually flying a plane - it had all sorts of buttons, levers, and pedals. I probably would enjoy the Densha De Go! series too, but I've never had a chance to play it. I also enjoyed the fork-lift driving section of Shenmue. To me playing a game like that is almost like meditation. Haha... yeah, I did that occasionally too. I mostly just drove like a maniac and crashed into everything that I could, though.
If you enjoy those types of games you should give Tokyo Bus Guide a go if you haven't played it before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBxFiNxdso4 There's also Jet de Go! 1 & 2 for the PSX, PSP, and PS2 which are fairly nice sims as well.
