    Hey Everyone,
I've been searching for older games that are 3D polygon based. Identical to the ones in the screenshots below. so far It's been challenging and have only been able to come up with a few.I'd thought of asking this community for help in finding a list of games for research purposes.

    . Zarch_screenshot_2.png

Some systems that made them include:

    Arcade Systems
    Acorn Achimedes, Electron
    Atari
    Amiga
    DOS
    Commodore
MSX, NEC, Sega and Many more..

Please note that the games must be fully 3D, I'm not trying to find the more common raster graphic games.

Does anyone have a reference, or complete list of game titles that feature this type of graphics shown above ?

    Many Thanks,

    -Someguy1

Looks like you are looking for 3d games from the late 80s to mid 90s that use no texture mapping. I don't know of a list per se, but I was thinking about this category of games recently and here are some I can think of from the top of my head:

    Atari arcade games:
    -Hard Drivin'
    -Race Drivin
    -Stun Runner
    -I Robot
    -Steel Talons

    Atari Jaguar games:
    -Checkered Flag (Jaguar)
    -Cybermorph (Jaguar)
    -Battle Morph (Jaguar CD)
    -Tempest 2000 (Jaguar)
    -Battlesphere
    -club drive

Sega model 1 arcade games (many ported to various consoles):
    -Virtua Racing
    -Virtua Fighter
    -Star Wars Arcade
    -Wing War

    -Shadow Squadron (Sega 32x)

    PC/Dos games:
    -Tie Fighter (pc)
    -X Wing (pc)
-Stunts/otherwise known as 4D Sports Driving (PC)
-Stunt Car Racer (Amiga and other early computers)
    -Alpha Waves / Continuum
    -Darker
    -Starglider
    -Corncob 3D
    -Aces of the Pacific
    -Aces over Europe
    -Red Baron
    -Test Drive 3
    -Vette

    SNES games:
    -Starfox
    -Starfox 2 (beta)
-any other 3D games using the super FX chip

A lot of these are vehicle sims, either cars planes or space ships. Searching those genres on early 90s hardware such as amiga, snes, pc-DOS etc should probably give you dozens more if this is what you are looking for.

Well, if you are including wireframe games, there's Aviator on the BBC B and Elite. Never expected to see !Lander again, been years since I've played that.

How about this little corker on the ZX81? FPS in 16KB of RAM and a Z80@3MHz

If you have some degree of tolerance for a few sprites here and there, Descent is mostly full 3D.

Anyone have some more ideas for early untextured 3d dos games? I'd like to check some out, and dos ones would be the easiest to get working.

If you guys like skyroads, you will want to check out Tasty Static (modern remake/tribute to skyroads). It is really well done and free.

Delta V - you could iirc turn off the textures completely to make it run on less powerful machines.
Starglider and Starglider 2 on the Amiga and Atari ST also come to mind. Especially Starglider 1 was cool, the Amiga and ST machines were on the same floppy disk and shared a common highscore list!
A lot of flightsims and space sims were also 3D stuff:
TFX, Inferno, Epic, the Microprose sims (F15 Eagle I,II,III, F19 Stealth Fighter etc), Gunship and Gunship 2000, LHX Attack Chopper...
Interestingly the original SU 27 Flanker from SSI was also pure 3D without textures.

An overlooked, though textured, gem was also Extreme Assault from Blue Byte - especially great in its 3DFX version.

On Amiga there was also a 3D Construction Kit, which spawned a lot of dungeon-like games etc.

And don't forget S.T.U.N.T.S (4D Sports Stunt Driving)
