Sony aren't doing this because of terrorism. They're doing this because the Sony brand is popular in Muslim nations. Loosing even a percentage of their hard earned corporate image among that populace would probably ultimately cost them far more then a recall. It's business not ethical responsibility.

 

That is true, from the grand industry´s perspective. Since they will loose money, just like all the Danish industries did after the 12 picture crisis. And they haven´t made up for it since. But then again I just don´t seem to think it is always A OK that is always one fraction of the world. That will control the rest, whether it is industry or the opposite. But then again I don´t really give a toss about it any more because it is the usual in the long run. I mean, after 9/11 then you can´t do this, you can´t do that. And quite a few games has been cancelled because of the terrible incident. But I am tired that everything goes haywire the other way every time we do something our way. And not their way. My sister is an atheist, and she is both baptised and had her confirmation, but that doesn´t make her more Christian than me. And well, I am not a Christian in the modern sense, of so many things that could make this thread go offtopic , in the on topic area. But what I wanted to say is, I agree with you all the way. They should. Because of some guy in Denmark who draw muhammed, they burned down the Danish embassy. The fact that they also burned down the Norwegian and Swedish embassy (who were innocent in the situation) who were in the same building didn't stop them.
