Someone got me a G25. I should be getting it tomorrow, so expect some sort of review ;-)

Johny should have one I guess but others feel free to tell me what you think of the kit.

    I wish!

The G25 costs down here more than 1.000 Reais. But i already tried it, and it's great.

    So, be happy

The G25 is a nice piece of kit but I found the Driving Force GT much nice to play GT5P with and it's much cheaper (I picked it up for Aus $99), although it lacks a clutch pedal and manual gearbox but it seems to have better force feedback and the new buttons and the thumbwheel makes it a joy to adjust things like brake bias on the fly. :)

I wanted one of those DF GTs at first, especially considering their price, but after XMAS you can't find them here anymore for some reason and since funding wasn't an issue I opted for the G25. I m excited about the prospect of a clutch, some videos I saw on youtube really show a difference.

I thought I d give it a try and I spent something like 1 hour just playing for the hell of it.

It truly is different from other, cheaper models. The build quality is indeed superb and it's quite heavy. The wheel is covered with leather and the doesn't slide off your fingers unless you want it to.

The gear-box works surprisingly well, although it doesn't hold a candle to the heavy-duty arcade counterparts, such as the one found on SEGA RALLY 2. That said it has support for up to 6+1 gears (counting reverse as +1)

I ve only played GT5 Prologue with it so far and so far I m loving the manual options, including the use of the clutch for some adventurous driving.

the price tag w/o tax is 175 Euros but in total it cost 205, not a light price but certainly a piece to consider if you love your racing games.

Try a free pc game called Rigs of Rods, it take a bit of work to get the g25 set up with it, but there is a guide on their forum.

    It have very realistic physics
(im also on their forum under the same name)

They just made a new version the other day, and its open source and multi platform too.

Works great with the g25, try it out!
