Well it's official, I will be coming to London from March 2nd until the 11th. I know we have quite a few guys from the U.K. here, plus I'm sure a lot more people that have visited as well. I will be staying at the St. Giles Hotel in central London, but I am going to be purchasing a week long subway pass so I can pretty much go wherever I need to. Does anybody have any reccomendations for sights/things that I must pay a visit to while I am over? I'd really like to see some of the major sights, but I am also interested in checking out some of the less tourist-y places that a lot of visitors wouldn't usually hear about or visit. Also, any good game shops or arcades that I must check out? I'm a gamer so I always feel a need to check out the gaming side of things in other countries whenever I travel. Any reccomendations would be much appreciated. Thanks! -Matt
With sights just go for a walk Start somewhere like waterloo, and have a wander north. Have a walk along the south bank, take a look at the eye, seriously just see where your feet take you. Just take a tube map with you, your never more than a few hundred metres from a station, so you should always be able to work out how to get back Enjoy your stay!
If you are there that long, go outside of London for a bit and see something non cliche'd. London isn't that interesting, I have been there plenty of times, and never been wowed by any of it.
         Give me a shout as I`d be more than happy to show you one or two places and what game shops there are left that are any good!!
