Looking for a Panasonic FOMA P900iV to purchase. United States.

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a Panasonic FOMA P900iV phone to purchase.

I am a huge FF7 fan and would like to get the phone that was displayed in the movie.

I know that it is a Japanese phone and can't be used in the U.S., at least I think? Please let me know if I am mistaken.

Either way, I would like to get the Phone because I am interested in it.

If anyone is interested in selling one please let me know. Or if anyone could give me some info or tips on where to find one or anything, I would really appreciate it.

Your best bet would be to get one from Japan. There are plenty on Yahoo Auctions starting from approx. 500 Yen and you can use a proxy service to have the item shipped to you.

This one for example also comes with Final Fantasy (the game) preinstalled. At least you could use it for playing that. It doesn't seem that you can actually use it for calling in the US.

Sweet, thanks for the reply. I just have to setup a yahoo auction account, is that setup with a normal yahoo account? Can I use a english/North America account to buy one? Sorry for all the questions, I really appreciate the response.

It is good to know I can't use it in America, that is disappointing. But I still am interested in getting one just for fun.

You're welcome. Unfortunately you can't use your yahoo.com account. You need to create a new one and unless you have a Japanese shipping address you can only get items via proxy services. Google for those or ask here in a separate thread.

I don't know from personal experience. I just googled. People have tried and no one has found a way to remove the phone's sim lock.
