I can't seem to get exactly what they're called, or where to buy one- It's a small toolbox like thing that has those cool fold out shelves and storage areas.
Looking for one, if anyone knows where to buy one or what they are commonly called that would be awesome- I've got too many tools floating around and I'm loosing important bits.
Plus, it looks plain cool to go in for a repair and pull one of those out.

    Thanks!

A tool box is exactly that - a box for tools. Generally speaking, they're portable. Plastic ones are cheap. Metal ones (generally the fold-out type where it splits in the centre and draws fan out) are expensive.

A tool chest is what mechanics have, with drawers. They're not cheap.

As for sources, look for my thread in the repair section on electronics suppliers. Any of them will sell them - Farnell group, RS group, Digi-Key... or whatever DIY chains you have in your country (in the UK, something like Homebase, Wickes, B&Q, Toolstation, Screwfix).

Not... exactly like that. It's be something I can carry around, like those bags doctors carry when they're on call. But less bag-like and more box-like.
I've seen one before, and my friend used it for his Legos. However, that was such a long time ago I doubt very much he even lives there anymore, much less if he's got the Legos.

But you had me with "generally the fold-out type where it splits in the centre and draws fan out". That's what I'm looking for. I'll try a couple electronic suppliers.

You might wanna look for fishing supply, more specifically a bait box.
I got mine for about € 9 in Lidl a couple of years back: a large plastic, portable box which has multiple compartments and spacers for my chips, tools, soldering gear and whatnots...

AH YES! You win Shinebi- a bait box is exactly what I'm looking for. Canadian tire, here I come.

EDIT- Fold out toolbox works too, but you don't find them in the sizes that you find bait boxes in. Plus, they run a little higher in price.

Lol, a bait box is a tool box, often folding! You get them in plastic, too.

The B&Q Value tool box is OK, but they do break - I've had several cheap (bait box style) ones go on me. It's the hinges, especially. I'd recommend spending a bit more on a quality product. It doesn't have to be metal (although my Grandad still has his from the 1950s), but a quality box (branded or not, your choice) is a good investment. There's the in-between aluminium ones, that look like flight cases. They do ones that fold out in that style, too - as you'll see on B&Q.

If you have them, the other place to look is those catalogue shops (Argos over here) where you go in, look through a catalogue, write your order down, pay for it, wait, and it comes on a conveyor belt at the back. Or a decent automotive supplier - anywhere that does tools, really.

Bait boxes are OK, but they're not really designed to be as hard wearing as toolboxes.
