A few years back I stumbled across a TV episode as it was just starting but missed the titles and I never looked up the name at the time. The basic plot was about a guy who is sitting on a park bench and after one hour time resets and he's right back there again reliving the same hour over and over again. Eventually he starts to seek the reason why and how he can escape the loop, he manages to meet up with a physicist but when he discovers there's no known escape he shoots himself only to end up back where he started. It was very Twilight Zone/outer limits but it's not one of those shows. It was quite modern and had reasonably high production values. I've tried an extensive google and wikipedia search but nothing has come up. It's not terribly important that I find it, if anything I'd just like to watch it again. Thanks.
From Matthijscoman's link, this one sounds the closest to your description: Limbo - An attorney finds himself stuck in Limbo, neither alive or dead. He is in a unique time loop that lasts 1 hour and does not move him back to the same place when time resets. Then he finds others who are stuck in the same loop as him.
The description is exactly the show I'm looking for but the link and the film Limbo are something different. Looks like someone has put in the description wrong.
Ah success. This is it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/12:01_PM_(1990_film) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUGYwNzez3g
