Be living in shibuya for the next year, sharing a large 1ldk.
I'm not a messy person, so you can't be either.
It's a nice second floor roof access building maybe ten minutes from the heart of shibuya.

It's about 9600 USD for the year, somehow cheaper than lliving where I am in the states.

    Serious people only please.

hmm interesting ... when are you going? I'd seriously consider going if I knew when you where going ... I'm not the tidyest of chaps hehe but usually I keep my mess to myself ;-) Not only that but I would have little or no possessions by the time I get there to even consider making a mess!

Assembler, I'd lock your dev units safely away when Legit's in the house ;-)

I've done a general browse of the Japanese embassy and apparently I can get a Visa under the 'Working Holiday' scheme. Basically it means I can go on holiday for upto a year but still be allowed to work to help fund my stay. If my stuff sold I could afford the plane ticket and about a month's expensives, however I would definitely need to have gotten a job by then otherwise I couldn't afford to exist! I don't want to be a burden! Getting a job would be a bit of a gamble however provided I have sufficient funds to fly my ass back home if I never got 1 it wouldn't be too bad, but then you would be stuck with the rent all by yourself for the rest of the trip hehe. What really is important though (especially with regards of the visa) as it can take time to process is when are you expecting to go, also if my crap doesn't sell that's also me stuffed! I filed for my passport today so hopefully it won't take them too long to sort me out ..

What's your address? Sounds very close to my old place. Anyways, congrats on finding the pad. $10k/year in Shibuya is dirt cheap. You can probably find a roommate in the Tokyo Bulletin Board or Tokyo Classified. No promises that they don't turn out to be super flakey.
