Looking For Clockwork Knight Pengin War (20/06/1995, GS-9015)

Does anyone have link for this unreleased prototype.
According to here, it was dumped:

But I have no issue finding it. According to one video, it was supposedly shared here but I find no link:

That's a good question. I remember trying to find it before and it seems like no one has re-uploaded it anywhere. It was definitely made public for download, I remember playing it a bit years back. That HD has long since been reformatted, though. I'm sure someone here probably has it.

Goes to show how easily downloads can end up lost to time.

 

I am surprised that its not even in Prototopia project thread and not even on Hidden Palace despite that there is even Sonic Extreme Xbox prototype for download (and I had hard time finding download for that although it does not play on console thats not debug)

To anyone who has Clockwork Knight Pengin War, please upload it somewhere. I think its important to make sure prototypes do not get lost. Do we have like a massive thread on Assembler which has prototypes sorted by system and alphabetically? We should have such thread.

 

Pengin is not a misspelling of penguin Typical.
I could not find it too but someone should have it here.

Either way, lets hope someone who has it sees this thread and helps restoring it. It was definitely online in past.

 

It was posted in this forum years ago, unfortunately I lost my copy by mistake when I deleted some stuff, I searched for a new copy back then without luck :-(

We should all contact this member and report that all public links have been lost and hope she will upload her copy of game.

 

Many years ago I looked for this game to no avail. If the original owner is unresponsive, your best bet would be to also post a thread on the Saturn proboards.

 

I will eventually get to posting there if here no luck but I definitely think some members here have it. For example I did find post of member here in 2014 confirming to own it. I sent message to her and I hope she responds and helps recover this game.

 

I think pengin is japanese for penguin. I guess they only use the japanese english for it.

Maybe Yakumo has a copy he could upload.

 

Another person who might have a copy is Segafreak_NL.

 

So it seems that we know names of 3 people who at some point had copy of this prototype. I really hope one of them uploads it soon.

Is this really legit? Why is size so small and what Emulator plays this? I have no luck running this?

EDIT: Never mind, I had to convert ISO to bin file and then it worked. Thanks so much for this.

 

I ran it with SSF, it's a proto so it's pretty small

 

I got it running on real hardware, but it had problems with emulation.

 

Convert ISO to BIN and use Mednafen to play it if you seek emulation.
