I will visit Minsk (Belarus) in May. I would like to spend some time for shopping.

I'm mainly interested in retro games. Are there any good shops, flea markets, night markets, etc. in Minsk? I hope to find some Famicom pirate stuff.

Furthermore can you recommend any good Arcades?

I'd be happy about some recommondations :)

My recommendation for Eastern Europe is to find flea markets and find people selling games/toys at flea markets and ask them directly, they'll usually know Dendy or Elektronika. Don't use the words Famicom, they probably won't know what you're talking about.

They'll up the prices on you if you don't use decent Russian also.

I know of a flea market near Zhdanovichi, which is northeast outskirts of Belarus. Hear the government is charging fees to sellers so a lot of them have moved down the street a bit to Masyukovshchina. Not sure the exact address of either market, but usually the Taxi drivers know the way (they'll overcharge you a bit like the sellers will though).
