Looking for: GBA Dev stuff

One of my friends is looking for some GBA dev stuff. Does anyone here have any they want to part with or know of a plae that has some decent SDKs?

 

Well, if you're in it for dev I wouldn't go after the official stuff... maybe with the exception of a few official docs floating around "somewhere" ;-)
It's been a while since I did some GBA dev (and I didnt do much of it at that), but on the software side I think you should go for Devkitadvance or HAM (or something, can't remember the exact name) if you're into C or goldroad if you prefer to use assembly. http://www.gbadev.org would be a nice place to start.

For the hardware side, you can use an emulator most of the time to test your codings, no need to shell out for a flashcart right away. However, emulators are less forgiving than the actual hardware, so it's wise to test it on the real thing every now and then. For that I have purchased a MVB2 cable at Lik-sang, which is a very simple device that plugs into your PC's parallel port and allows you to upload code to the GBA's off-chip RAM (256k), as it was very cheap.

I think hes just looking for libs and stuff to help reverse engineer some of the things. Hes one of the people behind the GSF format. I'll point him here so he can have a gander

 

I have a copy of th offical GBA SDk version 1.1 on gold CD, if your interested.
