Hey, Just a couple of months ago I was scouring YJ and found a set of games which had a weird unofficial game in it. It was the FAMIX(ファミックス) game in the top center. Unfortunately I could not find any info regarding the game on the japanese interwebs. Has anybody heard or read anything about this? Maybe saw one live somewhere? Pic attached
That's pretty interesting, I can't find any info either. According to this blog, Famix is a second-hand electronics shop. Looks like the dinosaur on that box is an earlier iteration of the same mascot on their sign. Interestingly though, I did turn up this image. If I didn't know any better I'd say there's a chance this store would put their own stickers on things that had a damaged back. Not unlikely then that maybe they had their own custom boxes for games that lost their original box. That's one guess, anyway. Why they'd make a generic box that fails to have anywhere to list the actual game inside the box is what makes me wonder how likely that is though.
