I am gonna start using my ds4 for a ps4 my brother just got so I'm gonna need a replacement for pc. Is there any good replacements for pc? It don't have to be bluetooth but I'd like it to be like a dual shock and have the same amount of buttons. I use every one of them. I am also hoping there's one with 6 face buttons like a genesis controller but that's not nessesary since it might not exist.
The most popular and compatibile with pretty much any PC game right now, would be the Xbox 360 controller seconded by Xbox One controller. But Steam now supports DS4 as well even in non-Steam games or ones who do not have native controller support (works with X360/XONE too). Didn't have a change to try out Steam Controller so I won't talk about that.
I thought I mentioned I wanted a cheap one. I can just take a risk and get any one on amazon. But if someone's heard of a good cheap one I can consider that. The reason I want it cheap now is cause it's only a interim controller till I get another real DS4 controller.
Then if you want a cheap one for temporary use I'd suggest just buy a used Xbox 360 wired controller.
There's unfortunately no "good" cheap controller. Its not a focus whatsoever sadly. Buy a used ds4 or xbo controller on ebay.
Maybe I'll try using a ds3 again then. Someone posted some kinda program that don't require a online connection. The problem with ds3 before was that motioninjoy only worked if there was a internet connection.
I used it fairly often in college day with my laptop and never had to be connected to the internet for use.
