Looking for PS2 Fat new

    My brother will go Japan, and I m looking for PS2 Fat new. Do you think is it possible to find it and where?
    In another country is it a yet avalable?

    Unlikely but it will find Some new Fat PS2 on ebay which haven't open from the box yet . Price may be expensive at this point.

    PS2 is not a big collector's market in Japan, although there are massive amounts of used games for sale. As opposed to e.g. Dreamcast, many fans wil only use their PS2 to play games. It will be possible to find a brand-new or mint limited edition PS2, but an original PS2 fat in unopened condition in a Japanese retail shop? Unlikely, unless you're lucky. Finding it on auction sites will be much easier.

    If you see something you like, you can talk to a proxy (such as myself) in getting it and handing it off to you while you're in Japan. I've done this with quite a few people that don't want to pay shipping on a heavy item. There are fees involved (and none of these look like a bargain) but probably still cheaper than the shops.
