So, basically, I've been using makaqu for the past few months to put together a working demo, and I was finally able to do it! However, the low resolution of the engine is kinda off-putting for me and a few of the other fans of the demo. I was hoping if someone could help me port the game engine to the Dreamcast since Dreamplaces is being waaaaaaay too difficult to even compile correctly, and even though it has extra features, it's very buggy and has no sound (which is one of the main selling points of the game), not to mention it needs custom libraries to compile correctly (if it wants to). So the first part is, can someone please help me port the GLQuake engine to Dreamcast with a few modifiactions, and secondly, how much are you willing to do it for? I'm trying to gather up as much funding as possible, but it's been really hard. I can try to pay you as much as I can, but I really need this done. Percentage of profits are also on the table.

Thank you very much, and I hope someone can respond and help me!

I vote for someone to port ChoclateDuke instead :p
We already have Quake and Doom, however the Duke Nukem 3D SDL port is limited to the shareware version and only supports keyboard/mouse...

Lol, Jambo87 isn't a Dreamcast dev, he is the creator and founder of Theisozone lol. He is a good friend of mine since I used to be one of the main moderators over there.

If you want to talk to somebody and are willing to pay, have you asked Chui or Mankrip? I don;t know that Chui is available anymore, last I heard he was working on an indie game for DC. Mankrip is the one who maintains Makaqu, but don't think he wants to take on any extra projects since he still is working on that.

Already talked to mankrip and he's been real nice to me, but is not interested in revisiting Makaqu. I've tried contacting chui several time to no avail. I'm running out of options :(
