I don't have much knowledge about j-rpg's, but I think this one is fairly obscure ( but therefor also interesting). I think it's a SEGA Mega CD game (but also quite possible a Saturn game) with some sort of Guyver theme, spritewise I think phantasy star-ish in the overworld (not the SD characters that plague the genre), but the battles are some animated sequences cut together, kinda like PC-FX fighter Battle Heat, only a little bit more minimal (no BG, just dark). Game starts with the main character waking in a laboratory, finding himself transformed into a Guyver like being. And he has to fight more Mutants created by the lab. Looks pretty cool, but can't find it anywhere. Not in the SEGA CD list about RPG's and such (that's why i'm beginning to doubt it was on SEGA CD). The Cover is a dark BG with the main character in his Guyver-like gear in front, just about about a torso and head. Bit blue-ish, I think, and I'm pretty sure that it's Japan only. Anyone has an idea?
