    Hello everyone,

A while ago, I had this unit up for sale or trade. I had planned to sell it to another user, but that didn't work out. So if anyone is interested in buy this unit, please let me know. The unit is in perfect working order, I have tested it to be sure. This thread was originally a way to trade this unit for a IS Nitro Capture. That is what I am looking for, but money is fine too.

Also to respond to Modular511's comment, I was informed that the IS Nitro Emulator by design is not setup to output to TVs and that the game slot on it doesn't read retail DS/GBA games by default. The card slot works when you write a DS game to a flash cart, it will read the cart when you put the cart into a Nintendo DS and/or have the IS Nitro Emulator program up.

If you are interested please let me know, either by PM or reply here. Below are some pictures of the unit, feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for listening.

Also to YamiHoshi.nl's comment, when he said it only writes SRL files to these carts, only to official Nintendo DS flash carts is what I believe he meant, right YamiHoshi.nl? What he is also saying is you can't create your own SRL files and put them onto a flash cart with this device, correct YamiHoshi.nl? Thank you for the info.

Hmm How much would you like cash wise for it?

EDIT: Hopefully not much if it doesn't read games..

Actually, you can only write an SRL on these Cards.
I tried to do that with a couple of commercial DS games, just as a test, and none of them could be read by IS-NITRO-DEBUGGER, not even if I rename them into SRL files.

we can discuss something cash wise if you can figure out how to get it to output to televisions and run retail games!

    Hello modular511,

I am sorry to say neither of those things is possible. Unless a IS Nitro Emulator has the video out option built into it by Intelligent Systems, there is no way I can or I don't know how to do it. Also I would rather not try, I am not a electrical engineer.

As to it running retail games, that is also impossible or I don't know how to do it. They are designed by default to not play retail DS games. As far as I know, unless you know how to build and work on a Intelligent Systems device, there is no way.

Sorry for the bad news. I may be mistaken about it not being possible, but there is no way I can figure it out. If you are looking for something that outputs DS retail DS games to a TV, then the device you are looking for is the IS Nitro Capture. It is designed specifically for that purpose. If you want a 3rd party device which would allow you to do that, it is located here, http://www.3dscapture.com/ds/.

Sorry for the bad news, thanks for listening.

Ah alright, I seem to have been mistaken then. Also, That capture device is cool! I never knew something like that existed! I may as well be using an emulator at that point though =p

Running Retail games on a Dev Unit is impossible, unless you flash the Firmware into something else (can be found on WarioWorld).
Video Output is not possible, unless you return it to Nintendo, so they can fix that, for a lot of money extra.

Actually it is possible to run retail games on dev units.
However, there is problem to flash retail rom to official kart, but even this is fixable, when you have time.

To run retail rom on debugger you need to encrypt special section of rom, to look like official nintendo rom. You can do this for example with utility ndstool. This is as easy as that.
