http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.47841 $56 shipped for a phone with no subsidy lock is not a bad deal.. but quality might be lacking. gotta love dx! If you have any links to other iPhone 4 clones I wouldn't mind seeing them... early december we need to get 4 new phones so we're shopping around.
Reminds me of the Airphone 4 reviewed by Ashens http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUT39op2Pp8 I don't really get why anyone would buy one of these piece of shit clone phones.
For us we will be switching to a prepaid service because for some assbackwards reason it's cheaper than post paid 2yr contract service. (it never used to be that way here till recently) So for us to go buy what is normally a subsidized phone outright to use on a prepaid service will be very pricey, well that and the fact that the phones you get for cheap or even the expensive ones with prepaid service just plain blow balls.
Well...I doubt the cheap phones you can get could get any worse than these. The battery life, OS, build quality, call quality and touchscreen are generally beyond horrible in these things.
I've used a few iPhone / iPod clones and they all suck major donkey balls  They're cool from a taking the piss point of view like clone consoles but they are awful to use. The ones i used all had terrible touch screens that hardly work, very slow menu systems, clunky interface and general poor build quality. The surprising thing was that they all had good reception for calls. They probably gave off x4 the amount of radiation though. Yakumo
iPhone / iPad clones have been around China for a while now. Most of them run some kind of Android OS. You basically want to find one which runs the latest version, otherwise it will suck really bad. You also want to try and find one with the higher quality touch pad. Most use that double layer technology which really sucks. Especially when you have to press so damn hard to get the plastic layer to flex and touch the second one.
Anything that cheaply built and so shitty (all chinese clone phones, sorry) doesn't belong in the hands of anyone who values the right of choice. When I see people who carry these devices I often consider them to lack artistic merit/style/taste for the most part. Very very disappointing. You're better off buying cheaper but actually quality phones. Rather buy this for the same price:
These are the phones I've had over the past 5 or 6 years. this is the one I currently have (and hate) vvvvvv I may have missed a couple that I've forgotten but that pretty much sum's up the past 5-6 years of phones. I might just go and try to find a used htc evo or one with bad esn if I can hunt down one for a decent price because I did love both htc phones I previously had. I just wanted to see if anyone had some good/bad china clone experience, and thinking about Yakumo's comment about the radiation I might just stay away from imitation products.
